Do you feel as though you are walking down a dark and lonesome path at times? I know I do. Everywhere I look, I see people attaining their goals while I am still stuck here, abandoned in the darkness of desolation. At times I feel imbecilic as to not being able to fulfill my true potentials. But my life is probably set in that sort of manner and nothing can I do to alter this prerequisite condition. Since January hitherto, I've been lazing around the house, performing activities that bring little benefit to me. I cannot proceed to studying a certain book for I am still awaiting my matriculation results. Get that, and I'm on an express route to University. If I do not, then I'd have to progress into doing my STPM(Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia) or probably my Advanced Levels. The latter however is much more expensive as it can only be done in a private college. The pro of doing Advanced Levels is that you get the opportunity of furthering your studies in a foreign university. The con however is that you have to obtain an excellent result if you'd want to enter a recognized foreign university, and trust me, this ain't an easy task. STPM on the other hand is like the Holy-Grail of examinations. The papers are also said to be far more formidable than them A-Levels.
If you do well in STPM though, both local and foreign universities will definitely welcome you with open arms. So there's quite a good chance of being rendered a very good university if you do well in your STPM examinations. The best possible alternative is to getting matriculation. This is because upon completion, you're definitely guaranteed a spot in a local university. If you do well in matriculation, you can also try registering yourself in a foreign university. Well this is because matriculation is well recognized by some foreign universities. Thence, I'll pray hard and hope for the best. Even though nothing works according to plan, there's always a route that one can take to succeed in life. For there is no specific path to accomplish great things. If you look back at history, the many people who's faces appear in the textbooks are people who were no one at one point of time. They were actually very observant and vibrant individuals; often asking questions for the most part. This lust they had for answers for their unanswered questions drove them into being the very figure of society.
